Why test in the browser?

Most microphone and speaker problems on calls come down to the wrong device being selected, a permission that was blocked once and forgotten, or a mute switch. Testing in the browser checks the same path Zoom, Teams and Google Meet use on the web, so if it works here, the device itself is fine.

The tests don't need an install or an account. The sound from your microphone and the video from your camera stay on your device and are gone when you close the page.
